Mario joins Florida Network Realty as a Realtor with over twenty years of experience in the real estate field, having been licensed for the first time in the state of Florida back in 1996. Mario has a proven track record of successfully working with both the resale and new home construction environments, representing buyers and sellers alike.
One of Mario’s advantages that he has a Realtor is that Mario is also a former Mortgage Broker, and therefore has a firm understanding of all the details of financing a home purchase. He worked for major lenders like Washington Mutual, often as a Preferred Lender, facilitating loans primarily for families purchasing new homes directly from builders and land developers.
Years later, during the market decline, Mario was instrumental in instructing homeowners on how to keep their homes; he organized free seminars for the public to teach the direct application of Bankruptcies, Short-Sale, Deed in Lieu, Foreclosure Defense, Mortgage Modifications and many other strategies. He worked directly with several non-profit organizations and major law firms in Orlando to detain foreclosures and to keep homeowners in their houses – an agent who strongly advocated to introduce new legislation in Florida to protect homeowners from future deficiency judgments.
Mario is also well versed on all Income Tax matters, as a former Internal Revenue Enrolled Agent, he truly understands the direct impact the taxation code has in our lives, such as the application of your Personal or Corporate income tax in the sale or purchase of a home.
Born and raised in Cuba, Mario migrated shortly after he finished school and obtained a degree in Telecommunications and Data Systems. It’s been said that buying a house is the single biggest item you’ll purchase in your life and that buying a home can be the hardest thing you’ll ever do. Mario strongly believes that this process should be simple and be the “most gratifying moment,” and he wants to be there with you when you do make this “biggest purchase.”
