Prior to opening Designs 2 Envy, Jimmy worked in the furniture industry for fifteen years with merchandising, sales, management, and sales training.

Becoming a Realtor was a natural and obvious transition for Jimmy, allowing him to take his experiences in business and passion for helping others to a new level. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is pleased to welcome Jeltsje Derksen to the Fleming Island/Orange Park office.

Jeltsje, who was raised partially in the Netherlands and partially in the United States as a child, has been a resident of Northeast Florida for the past twenty years. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Jeltsje earned her Physical Therapy degree from the Hanzehogeschool, Hogeschool van Groningen, in Groningen, the Netherlands, and has worked as both a Pediatric Specialist and also in Home Health settings.

As a Home Health Physical Therapist, Jeltsje evaluated, treated, and helped patients age in place and assist them to obtain the highest quality of life, which assists their families as well. Working as a Pediatric Specialist, Jeltsje worked mostly with children, 0-5 years old, with special needs. Jeltsje states, “It brings me the most joy to assist the children and their families to give them a new opportunity in life!”

Moving around as much as she did, Jeltsje has loved exploring the beauty, nature, and cultures in the U.S., the Netherlands, and around the world. Jeltsje is fluent in Dutch, English, German, and French as well. As a Realtor, Jeltsje is eager to assist her clients in fulfilling their dreams and maximizing their full potential in life, and in their living situation.

Ms. Hodges has been a successful local business owner for over twenty years and has now set her sights on a second career as a Realtor in Northeast Florida. Tracy was fortunate to discover her passion for cosmetology over thirty years ago. As the owner of two thriving salons, she realized that her passion ran deeper than just cutting, coloring, and styling hair. Tracy’s ability to serve her customer and her desire to serve them at a high level is what fuels her passion and has made her successful.

Tracy believes that “taking it personal” is a lost art, and is most often looked down upon, but that it’s her true key to success. Tracy stated, “I believe that ‘taking it personal’ is what it takes to bring my clients from contract to close. I understand that no individual, couple or family share exactly the same real estate needs. My goal is to understand the uniqueness of each customer’s needs. ‘I take it personally.’”

Tracy also believes it is her personal responsibility to assist buyers with the necessary tools to make the best investment to meet their individual needs and to honor the sellers’ investment by learning what is important to them in the sale other than the highest return possible. The day Tracy made peace with her limitations, imperfections, and mistakes was the day she realized that only what she believed about herself determined how successful she could become.

Tracy is the mother to two amazing sons, 19 and 22. Having them and knowing that they are proud to call her mom has been the most rewarding thing in her life; teaching them personal responsibility and accountability has made her realize she can do anything. When not working, Tracy loves traveling, exploring the world, running, and playing tennis. Last year she visited Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Cuba, Aruba, St. Martin, and plans to visit Egypt this year. Traveling has taught her an appreciation for people, and how to see value in everyone. Tracy has also run nine full marathons and enjoys playing tennis several times a week.
