Megan grew up in Connecticut and comes from a family of Realtors. Megan attended Central Connecticut State University, and ran Division 1 Track & Cross Country at the school. After this, Megan attended the Ohio Valley University and graduated from seminary. After graduation, Megan and her husband moved to Northeast Florida for his career.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is pleased to welcome Michelle Veal to the Fleming Island/Orange Park office.

Michelle, a Jacksonville resident for over fifty years, has joined Florida Network Realty as a Realtor and is eager to share her local knowledge of Northeast Florida’s neighborhoods and communities with her clients. Michelle has over twenty years of experience working in physical therapy; not only managing a home health care team and overseeing numerous patients’ care over the years but also working in marketing and as a staff member for various facilities, hospitals, and home health agencies.

Michelle is also a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and ran a 41-foot search and rescue vessel compliment of 4 crewmen. She has participated in over 2,000 search and rescue missions as well as law enforcement missions, and her team was also assigned to the Space Shuttle Challenger recovery mission. Michelle received Commandants letter of Commendation for saving a life while off duty, and she served in a joint mission with the Secret Service in Miami, Florida to provide protection for President Ronald Reagan, First Lady Nancy Reagan, and Pope John Paul II during his papal visit.
After serving, Michelle studied at the Hanzehogeschool van Groningen in the Netherlands to receive her degree in Physical Therapy and also speaks Dutch fluently.

Michelle also enjoys surfing and hiking in Georgia, North Carolina, and especially in Utah. Michelle has hiked the Arches, Zion, Angel’s Landing, The Narrows, and Bryce Canyon!
