The Rype and Readi Farm Market hosts fun activities almost every day to entertain families in the community. There’s always something to do at this culinary market. Be sure to check out the Spooks On Haunted House and Burning Man Scarecrow on October 29th.

4. Kennedy Space Center

If you haven’t been to the Kennedy Space Center in a while, it’s time to pay this place a visit. The new Space Shuttle Atlantis recently opened, telling the unbelievable story of NASA’s 20-year space shuttle program. Your kids will love seeing a shuttle that has actually been up in space! There’s also the Junior Astronaut Playdome that boasts space-themed rock walls and slides.

3. Spooktacular Bippity Boppity Zoo

From 6:30-10:00 pm throughout October 14th to 31st, don’t miss out on the Spooktacular Bippity Boppity Zoo at the Jacksoncille Zoo and Gardens. There will be Halloween music, thousands of jack o’lanters, select animal exhibits, bounce houses, and of course lots of candy.

2. The Hands On Children’s Museum

At The Hands on Children’s Museum, children of all ages can learn through play, observation, problem-solving, role-playing, and creativity. They’ll love spending time at this interesting museum, and you’ll love watching them have so much fun while learning so much!

The fall events offered by the Isle of Faith Methodist Church are fun for the whole family. Their pumpkin patch is open daily from September 30th to October 31st with a pumpkin-carving contest on October 22nd. It’s free admission, and there are children play areas as well as lots of photo opportunities.
