Fleming Island, FL (04/05/17) – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is pleased to welcome Catherine Cedeno to the Fleming Island/Orange Park office.
Catherine was raised in the former Canal Zone (US Territory) and is a fifth generation “Zonie” to live, work and raise a family in the Panama Canal area. While living there, Catherine had a rewarding career with the Panama Canal Commission – providing expertise to senior management in matters pertaining to Labor and Employee Relations Management and Human Resources Management. After retiring in 1999, she traveled to Spain with her husband for his employment at US Naval Air Station, Rota. While in Europe, they were able to travel extensively, and in 2006 they returned to the United States and settled in Jacksonville.
Joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty as a Realtor, Catherine is eager to help her clients buy or sell their dream homes. Though new to real estate, Catherine believes that this will be an exhilarating and rewarding second career, and she is looking forward to serving her Northeast Florida community in all their real estate needs. Catherine states, “I joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty because after speaking with Linda Benson, the Fleming Island Office Broker, I felt that their mission, goals, and values are a good fit for me as I embark on this new chapter. I am particularly impressed with their comprehensive training program and commitment to their new agent’s success.”
Catherine is a member of the Panama Canal Society, Panama Canal Museum, and a Roosevelt Medal Descendant. She attended the University of Maryland University Europe and is an alumna of Phi Theta Kappa. Catherine enjoys playing guitar and cello, and was the Leader for Music Ministry at St. Mary’s Church in Balboa, Rep. of Panama, and co-lead for music liturgy at Naval Air Station, Rota, Spain. When not working, Catherine enjoys being together with her family – her husband and she take every opportunity to celebrate with their three children and granddaughter.
“I am so pleased to have Catherine join our Fleming Island office. With her unique background – both being raised in the former Canal Zone, and as part of a military family – she will be able to empathize with her clients, many who will be military families themselves. I am excited to see her succeed,” shares Linda Benson, Broker/Manager of the Fleming Island/Orange Park office.
For more information, Catherine can be reached by phone at 904.930.1542 or at Catherine.Cedeno@FloridaNetworkRealty.com and website: CCedeno.FloridaNetworkRealty.com. The Fleming Island/Orange Park office is located at 3535 Highway 17, Suite 10, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
