With a Master of Arts in Educational Technology and Library Media from New Jersey City University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Rutgers University, Dawn is a dedicated educator and Library Media Specialist with a reputation for trust with parents and administrators alike. Dawn has spent the majority of her teaching career in New Jersey but has most recently worked for Ocean Palms Elementary School in Ponte Vedra as a K-5 School Library Media Specialist. In her career, some of Dawn’s responsibilities included planning and implementing library instruction that was aligned with educational curriculums, developing teacher training programs incorporating technology in the classroom, and provided staff members with technical and collaborative support and training.
Dawn’s background in education offers her a natural transition into working in the real estate world – from educating her clients about each step of real estate transactions to researching and preparing reports about the fast-paced real estate market of Northeast Florida. For her clients with families, Dawn’s knowledge of local school districts and neighborhoods will be invaluable. Dawn states, “I am excited about this next chapter in my life. Since becoming a Realtor, I have also earned designation as a Nocatee Certified Agent and Certified Staging Advocate. My knowledge and love of the area are what make me happy to be in this business!”
Dawn relocated from New Jersey to Northeast Florida when both of her children were in college – her daughter is a student at the University of Central Florida, and her son is a student at Virginia Tech. Dawn’s husband also transferred here with Honeywell. When not working, Dawn loves going to the beach, being outside and active, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
