Jacksonville’s 2019 Fall Events & Festivals

Fun on the First Coast is shifting gears from summer to fall. We scoured the Jacksonville events calendars so you didn’t have to. Check out a list of all the fall events happening in our area this season!

Vintage Arts Inc’s Fall Makers Market

October 5, 10:00 am – 3:00 PM

10029 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville

Jacksonville’s favorite “makers” are back for their 3rd annual Fall Makers Market. Get a head start on autumn decor and gift-giving season. Back by popular demand are several artists from last year, joined by new and exciting artists as well. Coffee, wine, and bites will be served here.

Oktoberfest on Main Street

October 5, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

1700 North Main Street, Jacksonville

“Hop” on over to Historic Springfield for their annual Oktoberfest, held on Main Street. Support your local businesses here, as they present food trucks with delicious, traditional German fare, musical entertainment, craft beer, artists, vendors, games (including the Mr. & Mrs. aka best dressed, so be sure to wear your finest garb!), and much more!

Wicked Barley’s Pumpkin Festival + Fall Market

October 5, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

4100 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville

One of Jacksonville’s staple brewery’s is inviting you to celebrate all things fall at their 2nd annual Pumpkin Festival + Fall Market. “Hop”pening in the beer garden, guests will be delighted with live music from local bands, special beer releases from the brewery, and an entire market filled with local vendors. Their pumpkin Patch benefits Atlantic Coast High School’s Autism Support Fund, so be sure to stop by.

Fall Family Day in Hemming Park

October 12, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

135 W Monroe St., Jacksonville

Grab the kids and enjoy a day of free family fun over in Hemming Park. Some of your favorite food trucks, including Cackylackys and Pita Dream, will be there, along with local vendors, performances, and a pumpkin patch! Possibly the best part of this Family Day is the petting zoo — complete with Buc the miniature horse!

October 12 & October 13, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

1st Street North, Jacksonville Beach

This two-day festival is Florida’s largest annual Oktoberfest, and it’s easy to see why so many people flock to this family-friendly event each year. Held in the heart of North Florida at the Jacksonville Beach Sea Walk Pavilion, this fest has everything — from performances by iconic bands like The Expendables and bratwurst eating competitions to cornhole and a dogtoberfest for your furry friends.

Jax Arts Market Fall-O-Ween

Jacksonville’s most popular antique market is bringing us an incredible celebration of our local artists and businesses with their Fall-O-Ween Festival. Guests will be delighted to get lost in the creations being presented here. This is an excellent chance to stock up on gifts for the upcoming holiday season!

Beaches Town Center Fall Festival and Costume Party

First Street in Neptune Beach, between Lemon and Orange

Get your trick-or-treat on a little early at the Beaches Town Center Fall Festival & Costume Party. Along with getting treats from local participating businesses, there are tons of games and DIY crafts available for a fun-filled morning!

Seafood Soul Festival

October 19, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

3800 St Johns Bluff Rd. S, Jacksonville

Combine your love of seafood, soul food, and good, old-fashioned fun at this year’s Seafood Soul Festival. This is sure to be the best crab broil around! Proceeds benefit The Edith Marie Foundation, a local non-profit org benefitting those fighting Breast Cancer.

Celestial Farms’ Farm of Fantasy

October 19 and October 26, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Your favorite petting zoo is offering a unique and exciting opportunity to trick-or-treat directly from the animals themselves…not once but twice! The Farm of Fantasy event is a day to dress up, enjoy the animals, games, and all the fun fall has to offer.

Bartram Park Fall Festival and Car Show

November 2, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

13241 Bartram Park Blvd, Suite 509, Jacksonville

Auto buffs will be pleased to attend this car-themed fall festival. Local vendors and food trucks, as well as a DJ and even games for kids will keep the whole family entertained! All proceeds benefit the Dreams Come True foundation, “the First Coast’s only locally-based, wish-granting organization dedicated to using the power of a dream to bring hope and joy to EVERY First Coast child battling a life-threatening illness.”

Right Whale Festival

November 2, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM & November 3, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Main Beach, Fernandina Beach

How great is it living in a place so dedicated to preserving our natural habitat as well as the inhabitants! This event honors the yearly return of the endangered North Atlantic right whales to the coasts of NE Florida and Georgia. With about 400 remaining, this festival raises awareness of the threats to right whales and what we can do to help.

Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair

November 7 – November 17, times vary depending on the day

510 Fairgrounds Pl., Jacksonville

This exciting 11-day event was created to honor and celebrate the culture of Jacksonville’s incredible community. Here, you’ll find an extensive range of events and offerings — from agricultural and 4-H exhibits to pig racing, carnival rides, and even a cooking contest! Each night hosts a different live show, as well.

Jacksonville PorchFest

November 9, 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

204 W 3rd Street, Jacksonville

This unique live music festival totally takes over the parks and porches of Historic Springfield here in Downtown Jacksonville for an entire afternoon/evening of incredible music, food and fun. In their 6th year now, PorchFest boasts more than twenty performers for attendees to enjoy as they stroll from porch to porch, lawn to lawn.

Mandarin Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off

November 16, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

11111 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville

Who doesn’t love a good chili cook-off? Shop from local businesses and vendors and enjoy all the spicy food your taste buds can handle at this signature event. This is also their main fundraiser to support our school and community outreach programs.

North Florida Floating Lanterns Festival

November 16, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Beachwalk, 1000 County Road 210, St. Augustine

 

Jacksonville Magazine is debuting this inaugural Floating Lanterns festival to celebrate the season of being thankful. Modeled after the traditional lantern floats in tropical places like Hawaii and Thailand, this event invites the entire community to come together and share what makes us happy and thankful.
