Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science degree – specializing in Respiratory Therapy – from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. While working in healthcare, Cynthia also held her Georgia real estate license and worked as a residential Realtor in Georgia; currently, Cynthia is licensed as both a Realtor in Florida and in Georgia.

Since childhood, volunteering and community service has been an integral part of Cynthia’s life. Although she has volunteered for many organizations, her passion is advocating for children with disabilities. She, along with her husband, founded a non-profit organization in Southeast Georgia to assist children with autism (ASD) and their family members. Cynthia is currently a Board Member for The Jericho School for Autism. Homestead exemption

Homestead Exemption provides homeowners with several benefits including a tax exemption of up to $50,000 off of the assessed value of a property used as the owner’s primary residence. Anyone who has purchased a home (or a townhome or a condominium) to live in as their primary residence can apply. The homestead exemption also triggers the ‘Save Our Homes’ benefit which limits future annual increases in assessed value to 3 percent or less.
