(March 27, 2019) – HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, today announced that it has earned the title of the country’s largest residential real estate company based on transaction sides, according to the REAL TRENDS 500 report. In 2018, the company’s sales associates closed 346,629 residential transactions reflecting a 5.6% increase over 2017. The REAL TRENDS ranking is based on 2018 closed transaction sides for the country’s top-500 brokerages.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Acquires Terry McCue Real Estate Inc.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty proudly announces that it is acquiring Terry McCue Real Estate, Inc. and all of the company’s related entities. Terry McCue Real Estate and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty will merge to create a new family of companies that will operate under the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty name, effective March 1, 2019.

The merger will strengthen Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices already robust presence in the Beaches community, where Terry McCue Real Estate has been a family owned and operated business serving the community for 50 years. Leaders at both companies expressed confidence in the merger and enthusiasm for the benefits it will provide.

McCue is remembered as a Beaches real estate pioneer and highly regarded for his accomplishments, dedication and reputation.
