Rachel has lived up and down the east coast throughout her life, and finally found her forever home in Jacksonville, after briefly living on Australia’s coast and falling in love with the cities of Australia – where so many of the sunny beaches were accompanies by a skyline of all city skyscrapers. “A place where the city meets the sea,” is what Rachel states she was looking for, and now, as a Realtor, she is eager to help her clients find their own forever home in a community where they can put down roots and flourish, in the same way that she has been able to do.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Rachel worked as a Client Service Representative at an animal hospital – combining her passion for caring for animals and her ability to create close relationships with new people. While in this role, Rachel learned how to have difficult discussions with people while remaining both empathetic and honest regarding sensitive situations or financial issues.
When asked about how this position helped shape her personal philosophy, and her decision to become Realtor, Rachel states, “I learned that the quality of a person’s experience can quickly affect their feeling about any situation. I also learned that the effort that I put in to helping someone reach their own ultimate goals goes much further than many realize. I found that my true passion lies in helping people through potentially difficult, confusing, or intimidating experiences and helping them feel confident and at ease. When I became a Realtor, I looked for a company where I could feel at home and flourish. When not working, Rachel enjoys exploring all the Jacksonville area has to offer. From attending food and wine festivals, to fishing in Doctor’s Lake and the Intracoastal Waterway, to going to car shows and visiting all the many restaurants and fish camps. In her free time Rachel can be found playing music – most likely piano, guitar, or violin – or taking her Husky mix, Kalani, for a walk.
