Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Representing Villas Continental and Yacht Club

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty was recently awarded the listing for Villas Continental and Yacht Club.

Nestled among century old oak trees and offering stunning views of the St. Johns River, Villas Continental and Yacht Club spans approximately 7.5 acres with 720 feet of waterfront. The property consists of 60 of the 75 condominiums in 10 separate buildings and 24 waterfront apartments in two buildings.

“Villas Continental and Yacht Club is a turn-key income producer with a stable current tenant base, and the development possibilities of this property are endless,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realtor Liz Bobeck. “With only 15 individually owned condos, it affords a new owner a realistic opportunity to acquire the whole development.”

Villas Continental and Yacht Club’s amenities include a community boat ramp, fitness center and limited covered parking. Residents may join Club Continental for convenient access to the club’s amenities including a pool, tennis courts, a restaurant and bar.

Villas Continental and Yacht Club previously had a 30-slip marina in the protected yacht basin that new owners may be able to rebuild.

“Villas Continental and Yacht Club is located next to the prestigious Club Continental and presents an outstanding opportunity for the right buyer or buyers,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Realtor Josh Nugent.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Named ‘Real Estate Agency Brand of the Year’ in 2018 Harris Poll EquiTrend® Study

Consumers also tap the network as ‘Most Trusted Real Estate Brand’ in study, which included input from more than 77,000 U.S. consumers.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, part of the HSF Affiliates LLC family of real estate brokerage franchise networks which includes Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty, recently announced their network was recognized as “Real Estate Agency Brand of the Year” and “Most Trusted Real Estate Brand” in the 30th annual Harris Poll EquiTrend® study.

More than 77,000 U.S. consumers rated 3,000 brands in about 300 categories in the online study earlier this year. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices received the highest ranking in the Real Estate Agency category based on consumers’ perception of its brand familiarity, quality and purchasing consideration, among other qualifying factors.

“We are honored to be recognized by consumers in the respected Harris Poll EquiTrend® study,” said Gino Blefari, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices president and CEO. “It’s a tribute to our franchisees’ tireless work and support of clients and the exemplary way they represent our brand in the marketplace.”

This year’s EquiTrend® study reflected an emerging trend in consumer behavior – the push to simplify and align with brands they know and trust.

“We’re so proud that the Harris Poll EquiTrend® study acknowledged the undeniable strength of our brand,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder, President and CEO Linda Sherrer. “Coupled with the skills and talent of our agents, we truly are an unstoppable force in the market.”

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has momentum in eyes of consumers. The brand was recognized for “Highest Overall Satisfaction for Repeat Home Sellers Among National Full Service Real Estate Firms” in J.D. Power’s 2017 Home Buyer/Seller Satisfaction Study.

The 2018 Harris Poll EquiTrend® study measures and compares the brand health of companies. Respondents offer their perceptions of brands, gauging their emotional connection to them plus brand awareness, influence and familiarity.

“Our brand stands for strength, integrity and trust, and we offer the best talent, experience, assets and relationships to our clients – sellers and buyers alike,” said Broker/Executive Vice President Christy Budnick. “Our Realtors bring our strong reputation and access to the best resources to help their clients in all phases of their real estate transaction.”

Jacksonville, located in Northeast Florida along the banks of the St. Johns River, is a beautiful place to call home, and everyone that lives here will agree. Jacksonville has an array of beaches, charming water views, and entertaining things to do. It is also home to some great neighborhoods, many which are growing into very popular places to set up shop and settle down in. Here are 10 neighborhoods that are set to grow in Jacksonville in 2018.

1. Avondale

The history surrounding Avondale makes this neighborhood charming and full of culture. Even so, it’s not stuck in the past. There are many houses boasting modern designs, upscale apartment buildings, and incredible waterfront homes at a range of price points. Urban living is at its best in Avondale, where the bohemian lifestyle is as present as the progressive one.

2. The Beaches

Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Jacksonville Beach are some of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city, no doubt due to the proximity to water. Locals can usually be found biking, surfing, running, and rollerblading around town. Outdoor activities reign supreme in The Beaches. Home to a mix of people, from young professionals to families, to retirees, and anyone else who wants to be close to the Atlantic Ocean.

3. Springfield

The up-and-coming residential area of Springfield is a historic neighborhood. The late-19th- and early-20th-century houses are home to families with kids, first-time homebuyers, and retirees. You can find scientific and cultural documents at The Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum. The emerging craft brewery scene in this area has created a lot of growth in the area.

4. San Marco

San Marco is artsy and so are the people that live in this neighborhood – it’s home to many creative types, young married couples, and single professionals. The area was built in the 1920s to resemble Venice, Italy, and still maintains many historic features from that time. But thanks to trendy dining, shopping, and entertainment options, San Marco has quickly become a contemporary and exciting place to live.

5. Riverside

Riverside is a short commute from downtown and the St. Johns River, it’s also notoriously one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Riverside is home to the St. Vincent Medical Center, and many old doctors’ offices were converted into professional spaces. That, along with the hip restaurants and trendy shops, has made Riverside a fun youthful neighborhood that attracts a young crowd.

 6. Orange Park

Orange Park offers residents reasonable housing prices in a quiet rural setting. You’re less than an hour away from downtown, so you’re removed from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to everything you could need and want. The wooded areas and large acres make this neighborhood feel pleasant and peaceful, which is why so many people want to call Orange Park home.

7. Murray Hill

Murray Hill is known for being artistic, diverse, and a wonderful place to live. It’s one of Jacksonville’s most social neighborhoods, with community gardens, thriving art centers, sprawling green spaces, and great nightlife. There are many fun bars, cool coffee shops, eccentric boutiques, and family-owned businesses. People move here for the community-oriented vibe and the beautiful architecture.

8. Beach Haven

Because the exciting neighborhood of Beach Haven is home to the University of North Florida, there is a youthful atmosphere that is only continuing to flourish in this area. Not only is it Jacksonville’s intellectual core, there’s also a diversity of eateries and shopping, nature trails, as well as access to the beach. It’s the perfect neighborhood for those who are young or young-at-heart.

9. Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a neighborhood in the downtown area of Jacksonville. As the city’s central business district and the site of mixed-use developments, there are historical buildings as well as corporate offices – a perfect mix of old and new. There’s an array of home designs and prices to fit every taste and budget, with Italian Renaissance and Art-Deco style architecture.

10. Arlington

Due to the fact that it’s steeped in so much history, including being home to the famous Kingsley Plantation, Arlington is an interesting place to live. You can hike and fish at the 46,000-acre historic preserve and there are many historic landmarks in the area. Arlington is growing rapidly, with plenty of shops, restaurants, golf courses, and community parks for residents to enjoy.

11. MuraBella

Located in the World Golf Village area of St. Augustine, MuraBella is a new community with a high end shopping mall, an arena, a roller skating rink, a movie theatre, a waterslide, two championship golf courses, a playground, the World Golf Hall of Fame, a state-of-the fitness center, and so much more. Only a 30-minute drive from downtown Jacksonville, the MuraBella area has all the amenities you and your family would want and need.

12. Bartram Park

Bartram Park is known as the Southern Gateway to Jacksonville. It is one of North Florida’s fastest growing areas and is an ideal community for people of all ages. Due to the interchange on Interstate 95, there is direct access to downtown Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and the Jacksonville Beaches. There are many multi-family and single family residential units under development in the area.
