A Florida native, Barry was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL and has witnessed exciting growth throughout Southeast Florida. Growing up as a son of a General Contractor, Barry was exposed to residential construction and commercial building, and he earned his Associates in Marketing/Advertising and attended Palm Beach State College courses for Construction. Barry’s passion lies in architecture and design, and he was employed as a Project Estimator and Project Manager for fifteen years in the West Palm Beach area specializing in interior build-outs for clients in the law field, medical, MRI facilities and high-end retail such as Louis Vuitton and Emilio Pucci.

Upon moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2007, Barry decided that – with his appreciation for architecture and design – going into real estate would be the perfect fit. He attended the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business in Scottsdale, Arizona and continued his real estate education by earning the designations of Realtor, a Graduate of Real Institute (GRI) and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification (SFR).

Barry practiced residential real estate for six years in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and was a member of the Scottsdale Association of Realtors (SAAR). During this time, he successfully remodeled, redesigned and reimagined distresses properties in Phoenix as well as in West Palm Beach – working with investors to assist in design from envision to fruition.

Upon moving back to Florida, Barry obtained his Florida Real Estate License and practiced residential real estate in Miami, before moving to Northeast Florida and hanging his license with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty. Aletia Phelps was, quite literally, born into the military. Born to her Navy family at NAS Jacksonville, Aletia spent most of her life on the westside of Jacksonville, attending various elementary and middle schools, before graduating from Ed White High School – where her husband was one of her closest friends. After obtaining a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Aletia worked with kindergarteners for several years, before moving to South Carolina in 2012. While there, Aletia worked for the Department of Disabilities and Special needs as a case manager, before going back to get her Masters in Special Education.

However, in 2017, Aletia and her husband were homesick and felt like they wanted to put their roots back down in Northeast Florida, and decided to call Eagle Harbor in Fleming Island their forever home. Now, as a Realtor, Aletia is eager to help her clients find a house they can call their home in a community where they can put down their own roots. When asked why she came back to Jacksonville and became a Realtor, Aletia states, “I truly love the community that my family lives in, and everything that it has to offer.
