Ponte Vedra Beach is a small seaside community in St. Johns County, Florida, right outside of Jacksonville. Surprisingly, this tiny town offers many things to do and countless delicious places to grab a bite. Zoës Kitchen’s fresh Mediterranean menu will leave you feeling good inside and out, with items like baked feta, roasted vegetables, a rosemary ham and mozzarella sandwich, salmon kabobs with zucchini and hummus, an orzo and spinach salad, and house-baked cookies.

Down South Barbeque knows their stuff when it comes to slow smoked meat, including pulled pork, Texas beef brisket, chicken, turkey, and fall off the bone smoked ribs. They hit the mark with popular side items as well, like collard greens, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, fried okra, and corn on the cob.

If you’re looking to dine in somewhere a little fancier, look no further than Restaurant Medure, an upscale place with a menu that changes seasonally. Past dishes include Hudson Valley foie gras, ahi tuna tartare, confit duck leg, Springer Mountain chicken breast, and a baked apple galette.

The food at Trasca & Company Eatery is not to be missed. Their pizza is made with a secret dough recipe and housemade sauce, their ‘Blue Cheese Blues’ salad features Nueske’s Applewood bacon, and their famous mud pie is topped with espresso whipped cream.

If you like seafood, you’ll love Palm Valley Fish Camp. Their menu includes broiled oysters with a horseradish bacon cream, blackened mahi, seared yellowfin tuna, blue crab cakes, a grilled octopus and white bean salad, and even fried gator tail.

There’s something for everyone at Flavor Palette. The ‘Go Greens’ salad includes kale, walnuts, Brussel sprouts, apples, cherry tomatoes, and golden raisins in an apple-dijon vinaigrette. ‘The Samurai’ sandwich is made with miso marinated fish, grilled scallions, cucumber slaw, and sesame pickled ginger aioli.
