Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is pleased to welcome Nicky Lanus to the Metropolitan office with locations in Avondale and San Marco.
Nicky joins Florida Network Realty as a Realtor, having previously worked at a local engineering firm as a Project Administrative Assistant. Nicky was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Before moving to Northeast Florida in 2013, Nicky worked as the Disability Integration Specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Nicky worked closely with the state of Louisiana to ensure that disaster planning was inclusive of people with disabilities and other access and functional needs.
When asked why she became a Realtor, Nicky states, “I’m always happy and love meeting new people and growing my network of family and friends. Being able to do something new every day, and helping my clients to achieve their dreams of homeownership is what drives me as a Realtor. After interviewing several companies to decide where I would hang my license, there was no question that Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is where I wanted to be.”
When not working, Nicky enjoys spending time with her kids, traveling, trying new things and having new experiences. Nicky also volunteers as an assistant cheerleader coach for a local middle school. When Nicky has some free time, she enjoys riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.
